The event offered an opportunity to discover the diversity of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, exchange experiences and good practices, strengthen connections among the participating networks and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
On the occasion of its 2nd General Assembly 2026 and within the framework of Argillà Italia, the European Route of Ceramics hosted Café Europa: Ceramics Café & Cultural Routes in Faenza. The meeting brought together representatives of several Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, together with Maria Giusi Luprano, Representative of Italy in the European Institute of Cultural Routes and Member of its Governing Board.
Representatives of Aromas Itinerarium Salutis, ATRIUM, European Historic Thermal Towns, Iter Vitis, St. Francis Ways, Romea Strata, Via Francigena and Phoenicians’ Route took part in the meeting.
Hosted in Faenza, home of the European Route of Ceramics, Café Europa also provided an opportunity to look ahead to the 40th Anniversary of the Cultural Routes Programme in 2027 and to discuss new perspectives for cooperation between European cultural networks.
