7-15 March 2020, Faenza, Italy

Objectives of the project:

  • Increase the knowledge of other countries;
  • Foster active citizenship through art and ceramics;
  • Develop young people’s critical sense and deconstruct stereotypes;
  • Promote the EU as a space for international dialogue and cooperation;
  • Deepen knowledge on international art with a particular focus on ceramics;
  • Improve skills in at least one foreign language;
  • Improve oral communication skills and writing skills;
  • Develop the ability to deepen information, use media and research channels;
  • Develop creativity and practicality through ceramic workshops;
  • Improve organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Improve social-relational skills and promote tolerance and mutual understanding.

The final goal is to produce several short stories around ceramic-made items that represent partner countries’ culture: participants will craft those specific items during a ceramic workshop, and the works will be finally exposed in Faenza together with their own associated stories. They will be also involved in the illustration of this content to the visitors.
